To attach the 15mm rod adapter to the matte box, you will need to remove the screws from the adapter, then screw them back into the adapter through the matte box backing. They will not need to go entirely through the adapter, just far enough in to connect the backing to the adapter.

You will need to use the screws from the support and screw them through the backing, back into the 15mm support.The screws are not long enough to go all the way through the 15mm support.

I love Tilta and the products they make. This is well built and does what it should. Only issue is that it just has very little vertical distance travel to adjust to the lens.
