This P-Tap to USB-C Power Cable allows you to power USB-C accessories from higher voltage P-Tap sources.

This is a great option for powering the Nucleus Nano II Wireless Follow Focus Motors, specifically when using stiffer vintage lenses or zooms.

This cable will provide 14.8V which will improve the torque of the Nano II Motor compared to a standard USB-C source.

Can I use this cable to power a camera with a V mount battery?

Can I reverse the pins to reverse the direction in which the cable goes? Im unfamiliar with the internal pin design of USB C. Taking the P Tap end off, its apparent that the mould is designed to allow for right angle in either direction, but its the polarity of the pins that im concerned about. Many thanks,F

If I am powering the new nano II motor via the ptap, and then loop out into my fx3 for camera control, will the usb-c input in my camera be able to handle the higher voltage from the p-tap? Or do I need to limit the voltage going into the motor to 5v in order to daisy chain into the camera?

You can power the Nano II motor via P-Tap and still connect your camera via USB-C for camera control!
