Description

  • [RONIN CONTROL] Supports Full Control of the RS2 and RS3 Pro
  • [LASTING POWER] via Go Pro Batteries Run a Full Day of Shooting
  • [NUCLEUS READY] via Focus Wheel Compatible with Nucleus M & Nano Motors
  • [LIGHTWEIGHT] Design Improves Flexibility When Wirelessly Operating
  • [DURABLE] Aluminum and Stainless Steel Design

This Wireless Thumb Controller for the DJI RS2 and RS3 Pro allows you to wirelessly control the Ronin as well as a Nucleus M or Nucleus Nano follow focus motor.

This unit is designed to be mounted to the yoke of your Tilta Float via the system’s Monitor Bracket.

The Controller powers via Go Pro 5-8 Batteries and features a USB-C port that can be used for future firmware updates. Please note we do not recommend powering the unit via this port.

This Controller functions as a replacement for the one included in the Tilta Float Handheld Gimbal Support System and can also be used independently with the Wireless Control Receiver Module for RS 2.

NOTE: The Record function is not compatible with Nucleus Series Motors.

RS3/RS3 Pro: The M Key is NOT able to mimic the function of the gimbal. The M Key on this unit can ONLY change the Mode setting.

I am using the Tilta Wireless Thumb Controller to focus with a Nucleus Nano (1st generation) while filming with my Tilta Float. The issue I am having is that the wheel calibration is not finding end stops. Therefore, everything works fine until I reach the 000 at one end and the 999 values at the other end. After that, the motor starts accelerating erratically and it is not possible to focus. That doesn't happen with my other controller, the Tilta RS 2 Remote Control Handle, which has similar functionalities and software menus. With that handle, once the wheel reaches 000 or 999, the motor stops, which is what I need.Is there a way to update the firmware and have the same behaviour on the Wireless Thumb Controller? Thanks for your help,Marco

It sounds like you need to calibrate the focus dial on the controller! You can do this by triple pressing the Sleep button to access the Menu > Function > Wheel CalThen turn the dial all the way to the left before pressing enter, then turning it all the way to the right and pressing enter once more to confirm! You may need to try this process a few times! Please contact our support team for additional assistance: sales-de@tilta.com
