This side handle slides onto the base of the half and full Tiltaing camera cages.

A battery port on the bottom of the handle allows you to use a Canon LP-E6 battery to power the Nucleus Nano motor via the 8V Micro-USB power output.

A 12V DC output is also integrated into the handle.

A built-in finger wheel allows you to control the Nucleus Nano motor and a run/stop button allows you to control the record start/stop function of your camera through an optional Nucleus-Nano R/S cable (for cameras that support this function).

Type I Handles are compatible with Tiltaing Camera Cages for BMPCC 4K/6K, Panasonic GH Series, Nikon Z6/Z7, Sony a6, and Fuji XT3/XT4.

**Note: The handle communicates with the Nano motor through a wired connection and does not function wirelessly

    A must have for BMPCC cameras

    I have 2 4k and 2 6K BMPCC¡¯s. I have a side focus handle for each along with a Nucleus Nano. So goo in so many situations. I use these hand held mostly and being able to focus right from the grip is fantastic. Great product

We have not released a new cable for these handles in quite some time, but you can find our new handle specifically designed for powering and sending run stop to the R5C here: tilta-left-side-pd-handle-with-run-stop-type-viii-black/

Hi there, I've recently moved from a Panasonic GH5 system to a Canon R5/R5c. I had a Smallrig start/stop handle on a Zacuto shoulder rig, the handle being on the right side on the end of an adjustable arm. The start/stop was easy and worked well. I'd really like to explore a Tilta solution though, would a Side Focus Handle Type I (LP-E6 Battery) be compatible with the right cable? I like the future idea of being able to use a Nucleus N motor to give me a powered zoom ability, possibly on a 70-200 f2.8 RF and I also like the idea of using a Canon battery that I already have plenty of. Could you advise? The extendible arm has a rossette fitting..Thank you and best wishes,Mike

Unfortunately this handle will require the use of a Nucleus Nano Run Stop Cable to trigger your camera and we currently do not have an option that supports the Canon R5C! We do have a USB-C Run Stop Cable that can trigger the original Canon R5, but the cable has yet to be updated for the newer model!
