Beste cage there is

The cage is great all around (i have the full vmount cage) but the top plate 1/4-20 and arri mounting points are completely randomly placed, so mounting a cheeseplate or nearly any rigging (that uses more that one mount point) is basically impossible. I've found work arounds to rigging the camera but it was definitely a hassle unfortunately, and required me to purchase additional mounting systems to get it to work.

Standard sized LWS dovetail would be welcomed. I already own 3 standard sized LWS dovetails but I had to buy the tilta dovetail which is narrower than a standard LWS dovetail. 1/4?or 3/8?thread at the front of the top handle to attach a magicarm for a monitor would be welcomed A compatible detachable shoulder pad would be a nice add on.

It fits perfectly on my fx6.

Well designed kit with nice fit and finish. I had a bit of trouble getting the battery module to fit into the batter compartment of the fx6 but it finally clicked in and will be staying there so not a big deal. Excellent price point for top notch equipment for a light camera like this.

Great cage and it?‘s lighter than I thought. I wish it had wireless video mounting options that didn?‘t interfere with the Sony Grip on the right but still love it. Gave it 4 stars because the Lens Adapter Support doesn't fit any of my Metabones E to EF adapters.

The only thing I dont like is that the door access to the Card slot is a lot harder for exchanging cards.

Absolutely perfect for my work flow! Love it

The cage works really well and I like the V mount battery set up. But I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 stars because the lens adapter support doesn't fit my Metabones adapter V for my Canon glass, and there doesn't look like a way to adjust it to the right position to support the lens properly.
Other than this gripe, I like the cage.

Cage and battery plate adapter are fantastic and super well built. I was really excited about this kit and bought it immediately. 2 Issues though for me that made this purchase a no go and i sold it shortly after assembling it.
1. Theres a led battery indicator that stays on indefinitely once you plug in the battery so you need to remove your battery when not in use or it'll drain your battery over time, even though its a trickle, its something i don't want to have to deal with when prepping all my gear for a shoot, just another headache.
2, this kit does NOT come with the dovetail plate so in order to use the quick release mechanism you need to purchase that for an additional $160 making this kit too pricey for me, in my opinion that plate or some generic quick release plate should definitely be included as installing a standard Manfrotto plate on it felt janky and awkward. If these two issues would be addressed i would most certainly keep this kit and highly recommend it to everyone.

Pre-ordered the Fx6 cage after using a Tilta A7sii cage for years, and have been very satisfied from the design and the build quality.
Was interested in a relatively inexpensive solution for v lock power for the Fx6 and couldn't find anything that had both a good design, and didn't cost thousands for what seemed fairly basic components. The Tilta cage has held up amazingly, I don't love v lock adaptors that occupy the battery slot, but this design feels very solid and I've had no wobbling or loosening while operating hand held with a large v lock attached. Plus the flexibility to rig a rail mounted v lock plate is great if you're coming on and off gimbals, or if you like the internal battery there as a backup on busy shoot days.
Very satisfied with the quality through the last couple of months of heavy use, a very well thought out and executed design that can be as minimal or as maxed out as you'd like it to be.
