Mirage is genius! Dont have to stop down in camera setting. Shoot Pro Res Raw on my Atomos Ninja V with Lumix 10-25 at 1.7 and stop down at reach of a finger with Mirage controller attached to my recording monitor while zebras and false color. BOOM! All MIRAGE BUT FOR REAL !!

This is a brand new unit. I'm yet to be able to use this.I'm seeing the battery drain significantly in the motor when the motor is turned OFF.A full charged battery totally discharged overnight when not in use.I measured a fully charged battery at 4.08V and then measured it 11.5 hours later (stored overnight, in device) it was down to 2.5V.So I am seeing a significant standby current drain when the motor is turned off.Means that I can't pack the night before and expect the battery to be ready for the following morning.I've put a fully charged battery into the controller dial and it seems to keep charge.I've swapped the batteries and see the same result. Is there a known issue? Can this be fixed with a firmware update?

Unfortunately this motor will draw power when the battery is connected even when powered off. We. recommend either disconnecting the battery when not in use or powering via USB-C. This is a hardware limitation and cannot be fixed via firmware.

I'm using the Tilta Float together with the Ronin RS3. I recently bought a Mirage Matte Box with ND filter. Using the Wireless Thumb Controller for DJI Ronin can I control the Wireless motor for Tilta Mirage? Or do I have to get the Nucleus NanoII?And can I control Both ronin in tilt pan and ND motor at the same time? Many Thanks

Yes this is possible! You will need to make sure that the Controller is set to TF and is on the same Channel and Motor Number as the Mirage Motor! Please contact our support team for further assistance: sales-de@tilta.com

Hi,I¡¯ve recently bought the Tilta Mirage Mattebox and wireless motor to use with my RS2 pro and Tilta advanced ring grip and struggling to get it to sync and work wirelessly? I can see i can get it to power up via usb-c and straight into my RS2 but if i don¡¯t have the external power module for the motor and the usb-c has been taken up already for power, how do i get it to marry up with the left hand side ring grip handle? Do i need the external motor so this is now free for this to work? Also does the usb-c need to go into the left hand joystick and then the motor for this to work? Thanks so much.

You will need to power this motor via USB-C or with the external battery compartment. We highly recommend powering the unit via your gimbal, but if the ports are not available, the next best option would be using a small battery plate like our Sony L Series Battery Plate: tilta-l-series-battery-plate-black/You are not able to power the motor via the USB-C on the Dual Channel Handle. You can control the motor via this handle as long as they are both set to the same channel and you have the intended dial of the handle set to control the correct motor number. This can be adjusted through the menu of the handle which can be accessed by holding the up arrow. The motor number of the Mirage Motor can be changed by triple pressing either button on the motor itself. Please contact our support team for further clarification: sales-de@tilta.com
