Yes, it includes a 1 year limited warranty.

Does the SSD case come with the Display Mod?

Yes, additional SSD cases can be purchased for use with other cards or as a replacement.

How long does the modification take?

For our expert repair technicians, the modification takes anywhere from 1.5 to 2 hours. For the modification service we offer, we expect a 3-5 day turnaround time.

Does the kit include the replacement monitor?

No, the kit uses the monitor of the camera itself and rehouses it into the tilt screen.

Does this modification exist for any other cameras?

No, the modification is only compatible specifically for BMPCC 4K and 6K cameras

Does the modification require any tools that are not included in the kit itself?

Yes, the modification uses a hair dryer that is needed to heat the rubber surrounding the monitor enough to separate them.

How many points of articulation does the screen have once modified?

The screen has two points of articulation once modified, the screen can pull out and articulate on that axis as well as from the attachment on the back side of the monitor itself.

Is the Modification reversible?

Yes, the modification is completely reversible.

Does the Service Fee for getting the mod installed protect me if my camera is damaged?

Yes, the Service Fee will guarantee you will receive your modified camera in perfect functioning condition.

Does the Service Fee cover my camera if it is lost in transit?

The price of shipping includes insurance on your camera when we ship it back to you. We highly suggest paying for insurance when shipping it to us.

Is shipping included when I pay for the modification service?

The service fee includes the labor for the display modification, and shipping back to you, with full insurance on the shipment. It does not include shipping to our facility.

I’m not able to finish installing the mod on my own. Can I bring a partially completed modification in to be finished?

No, we will only install the modification on cameras that have not already been partially modified.

Can I bring my camera into the Burbank Showroom and have an employee help me install the mod?

No, the modification cannot be done in our Showroom. It can be done at home or at our Service Center for a $249 fee. The initial Display Modifications can only be purchased with our installation service.
