Arm your camera with the Tiltaing Camera Cage for the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro and 6K G2.
This Basic Kit for the BMPCC6K Pro/G2 provides protective armor for the camera body and includes relevant accessories to improve functionality.
The Full Cage offers several 1/4”-20 threads with locating pins, cold shoe receivers, a NATO Rail for Type IV and VI Side Handles, as well as Rod Attachment Ports for our Single Rod Holders.
It also features ARRI compatible rosettes, which are specifically designed for our Adjustable Top Handle Plus for more flexible operating and handling.
The right side arm module can be removed to turn this Full Cage into a Half Cage.
This offers more flexibility in situations where lighter builds are required such as when using a gimbal.
The Bottom Plate provides several ¼”-20 mounting points for attaching your camera to various quick release plates and is compatible with the ARCA Receiver of the RS2 Mounting Plate.
When using the Half Cage, the bottom plate can be extended to support the Black Magic Design Battery Grip.
A 15mm rod mount can be installed to support 15mm rods in front of the camera body when using the Battery Grip in a Half Cage setup.
When not using the Battery Grip, the included Quick Release Plate can be used to connect the camera cage to the included 15m LWS Baseplate Type VI.
The 15mm LWS Baseplate adds 15mm rod support to the system and allows you to mount rod based accessories such as matte boxes and follow focus systems.
The bottom of this baseplate natively connects to our Tilta Standard Dovetails and also supports various quick release plates via 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads.
The Advanced Power Handle mounts to the left side of the cage via a NATO Rail connection.
This handle features a 12V Micro DC Port (3.5/1.35mm) and an 8V USB-C port for powering your camera body or other accessories like our Nucleus Nano Wireless Lens Control System.
The handle is also able to control Run Stop on the BMPCC 6K Pro/G2 via an included Run Stop Cable.
The rotation of the handle and additional hand strap allows for comfortable and flexible operation of your camera system when shooting handheld.
The included Quick Release Top Handle can be attached to the top of the cage via a cold shoe receiver and can be further secured by a 1/4”-20 screw.
This provides an extremely secure connection to comfortably handle and operate your camera when shooting low angles.
The Top Handle features additional 1/4”-20 threads, cold shoe receivers and a horizontal 15mm rod holder for mounting external monitors or EVFs.
The SSD Drive Holder attaches directly to the cage via a 1/4″-20 screw and locating pin.
It can then clamp onto a m.2 SSD drive, securing it to your camera setup and allowing you to record footage onto a separate SSD card.
The included USB-C cable is then able to screw into the SSD Holder and the Side Panel of the Cage near the USB-C Port.
This creates an extremely secure connection between your camera and drive.
The 90 Degree HDMI Adapter mounts to the cage near the camera’s HDMI port and offers a secure connection that limits wear on the port itself.

Loving the Advanced Kit for the Pocket 6K Pro. Everything feels right. The only minor comments are that the SSD mount tends to slightly cover the function buttons but with the cable pushed over the top of the drive rather than under it, this is workable. I really wished the Advanced kit came with the focus wheel controller rather than just start/stop control. Given that I use the USB port for SSD, the handle does nothing useful and leaves me with a difficult to manage manual focus wheel.
very useful easy to use
It is a great cage for the camera. I have, however, run into a very specific issue that a vast majority of people will never experience. I have the extended battery grip and have configured the cage accordingly with the optional 15mm rod attachment to support my heavier Angenieux EZ-1 30-90mm lens. All off these things combined causes the assembly to sag forward on the cage’s main base. I wish there were a component that I could attach to the far end of both the upper and lower sets of 15mm rods to keep that from happening. Again, not many people have such a heavy lens they are looking to attach to the camera but I thought I’d throw it out there for the few that do.
FIRST OFF I LOVE THIS KIT AND HAVE ZERO ISSUES WITH THE BUILD.
THE ONLY REASON I GAVE IT 5 STARS INSTEAD OF 6 IS THE FOLLOWING.
1. It doesn’t come with the USB C cable adapter that gives you two ports so you can’t use an external drive AND the handle at the same time which defeats the purpose of the whole kit. So I have to order this separately which is a shame.
2. The handle does not come with a battery and I have seen nowhere where it tells you that up front. I got my kit and couldn’t utilize this great invention until I order another battery as well.
