Arm your camera with the Tiltaing Camera Cage for the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro and 6K G2.
This Basic Kit for the BMPCC6K Pro/G2 provides protective armor for the camera body and includes some relevant accessories to improve functionality.
The Full Cage offers several 1/4”-20 threads with locating pins, cold shoe receivers, a NATO Rail for Type IV and VI Side Handles, as well as Rod Attachment Ports for our Single Rod Holders.
It also features ARRI compatible rosettes, which are specifically designed for our Adjustable Top Handle Plus for more flexible operating and handling.
The right side arm module can be removed to turn this Full Cage into a Half Cage.
This offers more flexibility in situations where lighter builds are required such as when using a gimbal.
The Bottom Plate provides several ¼”-20 mounting points for attaching your camera to various quick release plates and is compatible with the ARCA Receiver of the RS2 Mounting Plate.
When using the Half Cage, the bottom plate can be extended to support the Black Magic Design Battery Grip.
An included 15mm rod mount can be installed to support 15mm rods in front of the camera body when using the Battery Grip in the Half Cage setup.
The included Quick Release Top Handle can be attached to the top of the cage via a cold shoe receiver and ¼”-20 screw.
This provides an extremely secure connection to comfortably handle and operate your camera system.
The Top Handle features additional ¼”-20 threads, cold shoe receivers and a horizontal 15mm rod holder for mounting external monitors or EVFs.
The SSD Drive Holder attaches directly to the Cage via a 1/4″-20 screw and locating pin.
It can then clamp onto a Samsung T7 SSD drive, securing it to your camera setup and allowing you to record footage onto a separate SSD card.
The included USB-C cable is able to screw into the SSD Holder and the Side Panel of the Cage near the USB-C Port.
This creates an extremely secure connection between your camera and drive.
The 90 Degree HDMI Adapter mounts to the cage near the camera’s HDMI port and offers a secure connection that limits wear on the port itself.

The order was pending for way too long maybe because it comed from China. Im satisfied with the product but I do.’t date ordering other items -what if those get lost
Functional and sleek design. There’s a ton of mounting points and I love the included right angle cords for USB-C and HDMI connection.
I have the cage for the pockets 4k and i think this one of the pocket 6k pro is better in many ways except in the bottom part. I like to use my tripod baseplate with two screws so the camera holds in a stronger way and it cant be done with the 6k pro cage. Also i dont use the battery grip so I have some extra pieces that i really dont need, but buying everything individually was more expensive.
And for last i woud love to have a L bracket for audio minixlr and mini jack if possible so my camera ports are protected.
The best cage you can get honestly. I just wish the holes on the bottom where more like the design on the BMPCC 4K/6K. Overall great fit to the body and with arri mounts it makes the cage really versatile.
Tilta came out of the gate, being the first to offer cage support for the battery grip. However, be aware that on the bottom there is only ONE 1/4″ thread that is in the center of the lens. Most people who get a rig will build it out enough where the weight will rotate the camera after normal use. It didn’t take much for the cam to swing left and right. Other than that, the build quality and versality is pretty great. Now, being close to end of 21, it didn’t take long for smallrig to not only catch up with a full battery grip cage offering. Additionally, they are now pre-releasing a cage that secures around just the camera, and allows you to pop on and off the battery grip (SM3517). Returning my tilta for this one.
