This Battery Plate can be mounted to the Multi Functional Top Plate via the attached 15mm rods.

This allows you to use higher capacity Gold or V-Mount batteries to power your camera setup, keeping battery swaps to a minimum.

This battery plate also allows you to adjust its position to better balance the camera on your shoulder.

*Please Note the Battery Plate must be connected via the FX6’s DC port to provide power*

If I insert the stock, FX6 battery, will this plate act as a power source that can be hot swapped. In other words, if the stock battery is installed in the FX6 can I change the V-mount batteries without interrupting recording?

Yes! If you are using an internal battery, you can hot swap batteries connected to this Battery Plate!

This can theoretically be used with the C70, however, the integrated power cable is not compatible meaning you will need to use a different cable!

Hi, When this unit is used with a gold mount battery, does the LCD screen battery indicator work? In other words, does the battery indicator shows how much power left?

Hi,Can the battery plate be flipped around so it can be mounted at the bottom of the camera not the top. As in, I have 15mm rods attached to the base plate of my camera. ThanksTim

This battery plate is not designed to be mounted upside down as the integrated cable will not be in the correct position to power the camera
