Greatly expand the functionality of your Fujifilm X-H2 & X-H2S while improving your options for mounting various accessories with our Camera Cage Basic Kit!
The cage provides protective armor for your camera body and features mounting points such as 1/4”-20 threads, a Rosette Connection and a Cold Shoe Receiver.
You will also find two NATO rail connections which are compatible with our optional Type IV/VI Side Handles and the included Compact NATO Top Handle.
This Top handle features several 1/4”-20 and 3/8”-16 threads as well as a single cold shoe receiver near the front of the handle.
The Basic Kit includes a Manfrotto Quick Release plate for connecting to compatible Manfrotto Tripod Heads as well as a a VILTROX Lens Adapter Support Bracket that connects directly to the camera cage.
The cage features several mounting points for the optional 15mm Single Rod Holders, which are great lightweight solutions for securing follow focus motors via a 15mm rod.
The base of the cage allows you to access to the battery compartment and includes a slot for an included magnetic screwdriver.
The bottom plate utilizes an Arca Swiss standard and can natively connect to our Type VI 15mm LWS Baseplate and the DJI RS3 Pro / RS3 / RS2.
Please note the height from the sensor to rods will not be LWS standard when using this baseplate. We recommend the Type IV Baseplate to support the LWS standard.
The bottom of the cage connects to your camera body with a 1/4″-20 screw and utilizes an additional point of contact via a safety locating point that helps the camera from moving within the cage.
It was easy to put on the camera. It is well made and looks fancy.
My only feedback would be that, I feel as if, the cage should be made so that the baseplate can slide in from both sides rather than just the left slide. I have a speed booster so the way my follow focus is set up prevents the baseplate from sliding in ( and if I¡¯ve put the follow focus after the base plate, from sliding out). This can be limiting if I want to put my cage on my swiss plate tripod (since I¡¯ll need to take the base plate on and off). So it would be nicer either having the cage made while keeping a speed booster in mind. Or?just simply having the option of putting the base plate in from either side as opposed to one. Besides that, it¡¯s an absolutely incredible product. I¡¯m very satisfied with the product as a whole, and down the future will most likely be adding in to my rig with more tilta products. Happy with how it came through , both in terms of time and quality of packaging. Love what the company is doing as a whole.
I¡¯m very happy with the quality of the Tilta build for the H2s. I was originally going to purchase the smallrig until I discovered that the top brace was thin enough to flex with load. The Tilta has no such issue. All attachments including top and side handle feel solid and quality built as well. There is literally no movement when shaking the camera.
