This quick release top handle easily and securely attaches to the top of the half and full Tiltaing camera cages.

It provides several 1/4”-20 and 3/8”-16 mounting points as well as one cold shoe mounting point on the front and one on the back of the handle.

A 15mm horizontal rod mount is built into the handle to allow for various rigging possibilities such as mounting an EVF or external monitor via a 15mm rod.

*Can only mount backwards on RED Komodo Top Plate*

    I love this handle, but unfortunately the spring under the quick release knob became warped. Now the handle is wobbly no matter how hard I’ve got it screwed in. Very dissapointed as I’ve owned the cage and handle for under a year. Have contacted support but I am yet to hear back.

Are there any plans to release a titanium gray color for this model? The new Xeno top handle is affordable and functional, but its curved design feels more amateur than film professional. This fx3 v2 cage model does not have a tactical gray color, so I ordered titanium gray, but the badge of the fx3 v2 logo has also been simplified by printing, making the existing v1 model seem more luxurious. Tilta is slightly more expensive than other manufacturers, but its luxurious materials and design are attractive. Sorry for the long story. I was just curious if there were any plans to release colors that match the new model, just the top handle color.

Can this top handle mount onto a Canon C70 body itself? Will it hurt the coldshoe? Is it even possible? I currently have the Nitze cage, and want to see if this is compatible.

We only recommend mounting this Top Handle onto a camera cage as it utilizes a 1/4-20 screw which most Cold Shoe Receivers do not have!

From this type of top handle, I lost the screw and vise jaw that holds the 15mm rod. How can I buy such a part? This is a very important function of the product for me and I'm disappointed that it fell out so easily, but I trust that the part can be accessed separately and I don't have to use another product because of this.
