Great handle - not perfect power source

I got this handle in a package deal with a Lumix GH5 and a cage from BH Photo. No doubt the handle is well built – and I recently bought the GH5 power supply adapter so that the camera can run off of the battery in this handle. My main complaint about this handle is the fact that there is NO on/off switch. With the camera in the cage on a tripod you cannot access the cameras battery – which leaves you powering with this handle. Which is fine – but once you put a battery in it – the REC START/STOP is either glowing green or red. There is NO OFF setting. So on a shoot – you put a battery in and it has to be using some battery to power that lighted button. You can’t keep a battery in it ready to go in your cases – because hey – its 24/7 lighting up the power switch on top. This makes no sense – you can leave batteries in a camera without powering lighted indicator buttons when the camera is off – why would they not think of that in the case of this handle. With the battery in it – its powered on and lighting an indicator light whether the camera is on, shooting or even camera off. A Power button for the handle would have been a very nice feature. 3 stars for the lack of it.

How long can this handle power a Bmpcc4k

This Handle utilizes a single F570 battery which can power the BMPCC 4K for about as long as an internal LP E6 battery can!

Just purchased Tiltamax cage with the TA-RSH-57-G run/stop and It does nor work. The on off switch lights up red I push the button and it goes to green but it does not start or stop my FunI XT3. I looked all over the internet for information but to no avail. Any suggestions? Is there a camera menu setting in the Fuji that I need to activate? ThanksDr A

Yes! This handle can power a Nucleus Nano Motor via a Micro USB to Micro USB Cable: nucleus-nano-micro-usb-to-micro-usb-nano-motor-power-cable/
