- [ROTATABLE] Rosette Connection Allows for More Flexibility when Mounting your Handle
This side handle attaches to either of the Arri rosette connections on the Tiltaing Z CAM full camera cage or to any other Arri rosette connection.
A battery port on the bottom of the handle allows you to use a Sony F570 battery to power the Nucleus Nano motor via the 8V Micro-USB power output.
A 12V Micro DC output is also integrated into the handle.
The handle also has a built-in R/S button to allow you to record run/stop your camera with a compatible R/S cable.
I picked this up to pair with my Z-Cam S6 and Tilta cage, along with the LANC R/S cable and it works great. The Z-Cam¡¯s rec button can be difficult to get to when shooting handheld (especially when the rigged up), so having the R/S right on the handle is great. Small detail, but I like that the connection for the R/S cable angles the plug toward the camera rig, which keeps the cable out of the way. The R/S button is also illuminated in green/red for standby/record, and the power ports come in two different flavors for different accessories. The Arri rosette is solid and provides nearly infinite angle options.
