The Nucleus Nano Motor Kit II is the perfect addition to your Side Focus Handle or a cost-effective way to add an additional motor to your Nucleus M Kit.

This kit includes the Nucleus Nano Motor, a micro USB to micro USB power cable, a small 15mm rod and a follow focus gear ring for photo lenses.

The Nucleus Nano motor is compatible with most cine lenses via the 0.8x gear and the included photo lens gear allows most lenses to be adapted to the Nano.

The Nano motor is characterised by low noise and impressive torque for its size. It can perform super-fast focussing operations with quiet precision!

The motor has an input tolerance of 5-18 V for power supply via a micro USB port and has greater torque when powered via the optional cable from a higher voltage source such as P-Tap.

The Nano Motor has its own inbuilt motor drive that communicates directly with the Nano Handwheel Controller, Nucleus M FIZ, handles or side focus handles.

Simply set the Nano Motor and the Nano Hand Wheel Controller to the same channel and you have full control. The wireless range of the Nano Hand Wheel Controller and Nano Motor is 300 feet!

The motor allows automatic calibration of the lens as well as manual calibration when using lenses that do not have fixed end stops at close focus and infinity by setting A-B limits.

Each motor has a 0.8 ratio, which is the standard size for most cinema lenses. The torque of the Nucleus Nano motor is 0.65 N-m at 5.5 V and 1 N-m at 14.8 V.

Finally, the Nano motor can provide a run/stop function for numerous camera systems via various cables that we offer for the system.

NOTE: The use of R/S cables with wooden handles is not safe for the Nucleus-M or Nucleus-Nano.

Only use cables that we have developed exclusively for the Nucleus Nano system.

    So far so good, I bought this to replace an older unit that the rec/stop doesn’t seem to function properly on.

Are there any replaceable pitch gear accessories? The gears fitted as standard are too thick so I need thinner pitch gears.

Is the Nucleus-Nano Motor Kit II compatible to my TILTAING SIDE FOCUS HANDLE F970 BATTERY? because I read in some other reviews that this nucleus nano motor kit II is not compatible and still waiting for the firmware update. Please I need to know before I buy this

Yes the Nucleus Nano Motor Kit II is compatible with the F970 Side Focus Handle! Our new Nucleus Nano II Motor is not yet compatible with this handle and is currently waiting on a firmware update!
