  1. (1) Seamless Focus Gear Ring

Colour: Black

Materials: Rubber

If you would like to customize a focus gear ring, please provide us with the following information:

  • WHAT IS Your LENS MODEL?? For example, Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM.
  • WHAT IS THE DIAMETER OF THE FOCUS RING ON YOUR LENS?? How to measure the diameter:
  1. Cover the entire focus gear with a slip of paper and pull the two ends together tightly.
  2. Mark down where the two ends meet with a pen. Make sure to mark both ends.
  3. Spread out the paper slip and measure the distance between the two marks with a ruler in millimeters and then divide that number by 3.14. That number willl be the diameter of your lens. For example, if the two marks are 255mm apart, divide 255mm by 3.14 and you will have a diameter of 81.2mm. The focus ring size for your lens would be 81-83mm.

    Great product! Stock up!

If you use focusing rings, why wouldn¡¯t you go seamless?

They¡¯re exactly what they¡¯re advertised to be and such a game changer after using the ¡°cut-to-size?for so many years.

When you figure out the size you need, order an extra one or two to keep if you lose one. At the price they are, why wouldn¡¯t you?

    Good stuff!

I also bought 3 larger (74MM) for my Nikon lens which needed a very wide ring. The rings were 1/2?wide with scoring down the center to cut them to 1/4? I needed (2) 1/2?rings and (1) 1/4?ring to facilitate driving the full length of the lens. I carefully lined up the 3 rings so they matched and they are currently working just fine with my edelkrone Focus Module.

Hi,I have measured my lenses and the diameters came different to your table. For Example, for Canon EF 70-200 f2.8 II, I measured the focus ring circumference as 280 mm. So the Diameter should be 89 mm. Your table says 81-83 mm.Same with Canon EF 17-40. The focus ring circumference is 241 mm. As a result the diameter is 76.7 mm. Your table says 69-71 mm.Why is the difference and what size rings should I buy?I also have two Other lense, EF 50 F2.5, EF 24-70 F2.8 mark 1.Thank You

We have not had any incorrect reports regarding these charts, but if you are getting two different measurements we recommend using the number you measured yourself!
