This V-Mount Battery Plate is a lightweight solution for mounting full sized or micro V-Mount batteries to your camera system without adding the additional weight traditionally associated with larger battery plates.

This makes the Mini V-Mount Battery Plate a perfect option for powering accessories via higher capacity V-Mount batteries while still remaining light enough to stay within the weight limit of most gimbals.

The size of this plate also makes it a great choice for when you need to mount a V-Mount battery to a smaller camera body without adding unnecessary bulk.

The mounting options of this plate allow you to mount a V-mount battery plate in a variety of ways either via the optional 15mm Rod Adapter or via any of the 1/4″-20, M4, or M3.5 threads.

We also offer an optional Gimbal Ring Adapter that allows you to clamp this plate onto any 25mm or 30mm gimbal ring.

The optional 15mm LWS Rod Adapter allows you to mount your Mini and/or Pocket V-Mount Battery Plate to any 15mm LWS rod system which allows you to comfortably attach a V-mount battery to your setup.

** Note: This is only a mounting solution for a V-Mount battery — no power ports are included on the plate itself.

Hi, I recently placed an order for the Canon R5C Basic Kit and I would like to sort out a solution that allows me to attach a V-mount battery using rails.At this time I do not believe I nave a need for the Tiltaing Smart V-mount battery plate. Is it possible to engineer a solution using the mini v-mount battery plate, and rod adapter? I believe I am also missing a baseplate in the mix - is the "Tiltaing 15mm LWS Baseplate Type IV" the only baseplate that integrates with rods for the Canon R5C cage rig?

Yes! You will need the Rod Adapter for Mini/Pocket V-Mount Battery Plate as well as the 15mm LWS Baseplate Type IV which is compatible with the R5C Cage!

You can use the following rod mount for the Mini V-Mount Plate:rod-adapter-for-mini-v-mount-battery-plate/The Tiltaing 15mm LWS Baseplate Type IV is the only compatible baseplate for our R5C cage at this time!
