These Adapter Rings for the Tilta Mirage Matte Box allow you to mount the system directly to a photography lens with a front diameter between 52mm and 85mm.

These adapter rings screw into the filter threads on your lens and allow you to clamp the Mirage Matte Box directly onto the adapter.

    Happy with Adapter rings for Mirage Matt box

    This is a minor part, but one that could cause grief if it was problematic.
    My favorite thing about this is that the Matt box clamps securely to the ring, yet is quick and easy to remove.
    ALSO there are matching threads on the Matt box side of the ring, so you can pop on the lens cap that goes with the lens or a threaded filter .

I am thinking of getting a Tilta Mirage Matt box for use with my Nikon 500mm pf lens which has a filter thread of 95mm.I see that a 95 mm adapter ring for Tilta Mirage is available but the text associated with this adapter says:¡®These Adapter Rings for the Tilta Mirage Matte Box allow you to mount the system directly to a photography lens with a front diameter between 52mm and 85mm.¡¯Does this mean that I cannot use this Matt box with a lens with a 95mm filter thread? If so I do not understand why you sell a 95 mm adapter.Thank you for your help.

You can still use the 95mm adapter ring for this, but it might cause a slightly vignette depending on the focal length of your lens! At 500mm you should not have this issue.

I own a Mini Matte Box, and thinking about also getting a mirage for my second camera. I have invested in multiple of adapter rings for my entire set of primes already for the mini. Therefore; I am wondering if the Mirage will also fit on the same adapter ring?

Unfortunately the Mirage and Mini Matte Box use different size Adapter Rings which are not compatible!

Will this adapter ring work with the 4¡Á5.65 Carbon Fiber Matte Box with a 95mm backing plate?

Officially we would not recommend this as mounting the MBT12 via filter threads will put a lot of stress on your lens, however, this is theoretically possible, but would likely need additional support to be safe!

Hello, I need help please, need ring adaptor for my Sony FE 24mm 1.4 GMThe filter diameter says 67mm. None of the ring adaptors that you supplied fits. Which one should i get? I think the closest fit is your 72. Still need a size bigger?Just wanna confirmThanks

Hello, I have a Tilta Mirage matte box MB-T16, However I need 2 additional 82mm adaptors rings. I have ordered this twice and each time I get the wrong item. The ring supplied is 82mm thread but has outside diameter of 87mm ??? I need 2 x 82mm adaptor rings to suit 95mm matte box... All the suppliers are sending the wrong item.... How do I purchase the correct item, This is very frustrating..
